Season of the Church

Welcome to the Season of the Church

at Ebenezer

The Season of the Church, Pentecost Season, or Trinity Season is the longest season in the entire Church Year. There are from twenty-two to twenty-seven Sundays in it. During this season we study the Christian life. We consider what Jesus Christ means for our everday thoughts and actions. The color is green to signify the new life and growth which we are to achieve. During the final three Sundays of this Season, as we come to the close of the Church Year, our attention turns to the end of the world and the Last Judgment.
